Wally
was found as a stray. It was immediately obvious to us that he had been
terribly mistreated. Upon his visit to the Vet, we found out that he
had an ear infection, an eye infection, periodontal infection, arthritis
and was significantly malnourished.
Wally is now in one of 2nd Chance's foster homes and is doing a great
job at recovering from all of his ailments. He is on medication for
all of his infections and is being feed high quality food. In a mere
7 days we have seen a dramatic improvement. He
weighed 13 lbs when he was rescued and has already gained over a pound.
He was sent to the groomer to take care of all of his
matted hair. His hair was much long than what he looks like in this
picture.
Wally is being fostered in a home with 7 other dogs, 4 cats and a 13
year old child and is getting along great with all of them.
It appears that Wally is very hard of hearing and has very poor eye
sight. The vet guesses that he is somewhere between 10 and 13 years
old.
Wally is in desperate need of a loving home where he can live out the
rest of his life in "style".
