LUCY

Lucy was a stray, pregnant and starving, who the dog warden trapped last March. She gave birth to nine puppies while in the trap. Six months later, with her surviving pups all in their new homes, we were having a tough time finding the right home for Lucy. After almost a year in foster care, and several attempted placements, Lucy has finally found the home of her dreams. Her new pad is close enough to her foster home, and the permanent home of her surviving 3 pups, that an occasional family reunion is a distinct possibility.
