Liesl

Liesl was a stray picked up in the Butler area and was brought to the shelter in early March. Liesl joined the 2nd Chance Foster Family Program in late March 2003.

Liesl is a spayed female, 83 lb. German Shepard Dog mix. The veterinarian estimates her age to be between 1 and 3 years old. She is in excellent shape and is current with all of her vacinations. Liesl is both house and crate trained.

Her new foster family has found her to be a wonderful dog. Liesl appears to have been taken care of reasonably well by the family who previously owned her. We do not understand why she was found as a stray and why her previous family did not try to find her.

Liesl is well behaved and craves attention. She understands some basic commands.

Her foster family has 7 other dogs, 3 cats and a 12 year old child. Liesl has fit right into the family.

Liesl is looking for someone to give her her second chance!
