Honey Bear

This young foundling came into our care in January after she was found wandering the streets. Such a cutie at about 5 months old! We knew she wouldn't be hard to place, but also new she needed an "Akita savvy" owner, preferably one who has owned this breed before. We had lots of applications to adopt Honey and, by the time she'd been spayed and given her puppy shots, we had check out all the families who had applied to adopt her. Our choice was Steve, Helen and their dog Gussie.
