For some pets we find the perfect home quite quickly. For others
it takes longer. Occasionally, it seems to take forever but, for the
pet involved, the time spent searching is worthwhile.
Hobo came into our care in the fall of 1998. After one unsuccessful
placement that year, he'd been hanging around in his foster home ever
since.
In the spring of 2002, Eric and Julie came to view another dog, and
were very taken with Hobo. More important, their active lifestyle
seemed perfect. Also, their other dog Lelaps is part Basenji - a breed
of dog that doesn't bark. For Hobo, his daily runs with Eric, combined
with the calming influence of a quiet canine companion has resulted
in the perfect family.
