Abbie

Abbie is close to 10 years old. In fact, she was exactly 9 years and 10 months when her owners surrendered her to the Lancaster shelter. Therefore she will be 10 in May - not a good age to be unceremoniously dumped by a family who had presumably been her owners since she was a pup. Abbie is in great shape health wise, apart from an ear infection that we are treating. Her blood work came back great, and she is spayed, microchipped and current on shots. Last week she underwent snake avoidance training and is presently on a diet to lose the excess 10lbs our vet has recommended. Abbie is housetrained and very affectionate. She is very easy to have around, very undemanding and great with other dogs. She loves her daily walk. and would make a great companion for another senior dog, or for a busy family who don't have time for a rambunctious young dog.
